Dog Behavior & Manners Group Class

$30.00

This dog training class is strictly for on-going support to get your dog(s) in a public setting with distractions like other dogs and their owners, kids, and traffic! This is a safe, judgment-free environment. Everyone in the group is currently enrolled or has already been through our program(s) and has been struggling with their dog just like you. So, please ask questions, share any 'ah hah' moments you've experienced throughout your training, and offer support to help troubleshoot other's issues. Class size is limited, so please RSVP asap.

  • Every 2nd & 4th Friday from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

  • Park in the East Parking Lot at the Nebo Summit Center (165 S 700 E, Springville). Enter the building through the main entrance and follow the signs to find the Mt Olympus Room. (See attached photo for a map of the school).

SAFETY RULES

  • Please plan ahead. No more than 1 dog per person over 18 years of age is permitted. Friends and children are welcome, however, if they are handling a dog, they must have permission from the trainer.

  • Between April-September, class will be held exclusively outside so please bring a chair to rest between exercises.

  • Dress appropriately for the predicted weather! If it's too cold/hot for you or your dog, just stay home and come next time.

  • Please bring your dog's bed/cot and training leashes and collars.

  • Before you leave your vehicle, please check your dog's collar and leash to ensure everything is secure and maintain a firm grip on your dog's leash at all times.

  • Take a moment to look around. If others are arriving at the same time, please be respectful and maintain a good distance, (at least 10’ apart from each other). This is crucial as some attendees are fearful and even aggressive in manner and we want to prevent any mishaps.

  • These classes are interactive and require your undivided attention. Please stay focused on your dog and those around you and put your phone on silent.

  • No UNRESOLVED/SEVERE behavioral issues! Children and dogs of various sizes, ages, and training levels will be present. If you or your dog are not ready for such an environment, we encourage you to meet with our trainer for private lessons before attending. https://calendly.com/bakersacres

  • If you have any questions, please ask for assistance.

  • When the class is over, please clean up after yourself and your dog and help cleanup anything that doesn't belong.
