UPCOMING 2018 DATES
Sep 15th: (Schedule Change!!!) Our Animal Control Officer is under the weather, so we will be postponing his presentation for the foreseeable future. We will instead be meeting at Hobble Creek Park for a Pack Walk! It’s been a long time since we’ve done this so we’re excited to host this event again. Please meet at the park at 10am with your training equipment and poop bags!
Oct 27th: Halloween Costume Party & Doorbell Challenge - come in costume, bring a treat to share, we'll be practicing door greeting etiquette and establishing boundaries inside and outside, how to handle trick or treaters.
Nov 17th: Thanksgiving Kitchen Challenge - place, thresholds, foods to share and foods to avoid.
Dec 15th (please leave pups at home): Service Project at SUVAS - bring donations to the shelter, prepare to walk dogs, clean kennels, or any other service that needs to be done.

Jan 20th: Field Trip to Barnes & Noble - practice place in public, discover helpful pet care books.
Feb 3rd: Special Guest, Mandy Peterson, from Designer Dogs of America.
Feb 10th (Schedule change!!): Ask the Groomer Q&A (Special Guest, Jennifer Carter, from Mamma Jenns Pet Grooming) - how to care for your dog between groomings, what every groomer wants pet owners to know.
Mar 3rd: Stranger Danger - how to greet a dog, what to do when strangers won't listen.
Apr 21st: Ask the Veterinarian Q&A (Special Guest, Dr Park, from Park Animal Hospital) - what to expect at the vet, how to act and help the staff, and how to choose a veterinarian, what every vet wants pet owners to know.
May 5th: Musical "place" mats - practice going to and staying on place around distractions.
Jun 16th: Neighborhood Bike Ride - bring a sturdy bike, cycling attachments, helmet.
Jul 14th: LOCATION & LESSON CHANGE!!! Due to the hotter temperatures, we're postponing our off leash hike. This month we will meet at Bakers Acres and discussing the who, what, when, where, how, and why of remote collars. If you already have a remote/e-collar, please bring it. We will be testing them on each other and then holding a Q&A afterwards.
Aug 18th (please leave pups at home): Nutrition 101 Q&A (Special Guest, Heather Rose, from Project K9) - how to find or make a balanced dog food, prevent illness and disease through nutrition and essential oils.
